Volunteer Descriptions

1. Vendor and Speaker Coordination:
   • Confirm arrival times and locations.
   • Prepare information packets for speakers and performers.
   • Set up check-in stations for vendors.

During the Festival:

1. Setup:
   • Assist with the setup of stages, tents, and speaker rooms.
   • Arrange seating, lighting, and sound equipment.
   • Set up water stations and recycling bins.
2. Registration and Information:
   • Manage registration desks.
   • Provide information and directions to attendees.
   • Handle any ticketing issues.
3. Class and Workshop Assistance:
   • Check attendees in at various workshops and seminars.
   • Assist speakers and workshop leaders with setup and materials.
   • Monitor sessions to manage time and attend to any needs.
4. Stage and Performance Support:
   • Assist bands and performers with logistics.
   • Coordinate with sound and light technicians.
   • Manage backstage areas and performer amenities.
5. Sustainability Efforts:
   • Monitor and manage recycling and trash disposal.
   • Ensure water stations are stocked and operational.
   • Promote sustainability practices to attendees.
6. Safety and First Aid:
   • Report and respond to any health or safety concerns.
   • Guide attendees in case of an emergency, ensuring clear access to exits.

Volunteers that work over four hours a day will get a food voucher.

Volunteers will receive a shirt to wear during the festival.

By participating as a volunteer at the Earth Medicine Festival, you acknowledge that photos and video recordings may be taken for promotional and archival purposes.
